High robustness
Difficult fluids occur in abundance in upstream and downstream oil & gas operations, in both onshore and offshore facilities. These fluids are usually an unpredictable mixture of oil, water, chemicals and solid particles. Thus, they can be corrosive, erosive, volatile, and hazardous to human health and to our environment. PCM Moineau™ AV vertical pumps are highly tolerant to sludge and slurries, which makes it one of the most robust vertical pumps on the market. It is efficient, even in demanding environments. The pump is constructed with a dynamic seal (cartridge mechanical seals), which ensures ease of maintenance. The shaft centralizers are non-rotating, maintenance free, and corrosion resistant.
System simplification
PCM Moineau™ AV vertical pumps are specifically designed to be directly installed into a tank, pit, vessel or drum. Thus, they offer exceptional opportunities to save space, while simplifying your system, and minimizing associated capital equipment costs. These vertical pumps have no valves to block or clog and integrate concentric shaft rotation, which eliminates excess vibration.
As PCM Moineau™ AV pumps are installed directly into the fluid source, it eliminates upstream pressure losses as well as maximizing the available Net Positive Suction Head (NPSHa). This is, among all, the optimum solution for light hydrocarbons and condensates.

Conceived and designed from PCM Moineau™ technology, invented by PCM co-founder René Moineau, the PCM Moineau™ AV pump is composed of a steel helical rotor rotating in an elastomer stator, creating sealed cavities that transfer your fluid in a constant, non-pulsating manner without degrading it. This design ensures a long life of the pump while maintaining optimal and reliable performance.

PCM Moineau™ AV pumps are available with a range of options and accessories to fulfill your specific needs:
- Material range: carbon steel, AISI 316 stainless steel, 22Cr duplex and 25Cr duplex stainless steels.
- Elastomer formulation: Fluorocarbon (FKM) or Nitrile (NBR).
- Mounting flange or mounting plate
- Pump length customized to suit the installation – up to 10m as standard (bespoke solutions for greater lengths).
- Multi-coat epoxy paint system for harsh environments (ISO 12944, C3 or C5M environments).
- API seal plans for optimum seal performance and operator safety.
